A few words
Who We Are
Herstory
From Meetup to a Thriving Community: Our Story
There was a moment I realized something wasn’t adding up. We had more ways to connect than ever—apps, feeds, groups, messages—and yet something felt… off. Conversations were happening, but connection wasn’t. People were showing up online, but not always feeling seen in real life.
Especially lesbian+ and queer women.
So I started paying attention. The events that worked weren’t the biggest or the flashiest. They were the ones where people walked in a little unsure… and left having actually met someone. Talked. Laughed. Felt something real.
That’s where LesbianEarth began.
LesbianEarth isn’t just a website. It’s a return to something we’ve been missing. A place where lesbian and queer women show up—in real life and online—and build something that feels like community again.
What We’re Really Doing Here
This isn’t about content for content’s sake. It’s about:
- Creating spaces where you don’t have to explain yourself
- Making it easier to meet people without apps or pressure
- Sharing stories that actually reflect our lives
- Building something consistent, warm, and real
Because the truth is—community doesn’t just happen. It’s created. Intentionally.
The Shift
A lot of what exists for queer women right now?
It’s either outdated… or it doesn’t quite fit anymore. And most people feel that—but can’t always name it. That’s the “old layer.” The old ways of connecting. The old spaces. The old expectations.
What’s happening now is different. People are looking for:
- Real conversations
- Smaller, meaningful gatherings
- A sense of belonging that actually lasts
LesbianEarth is built for that version of community.
About Me
I didn’t set out to build a platform. I started by bringing people together.
One event. Then another. Then a newsletter. Then a room full of people who didn’t want to leave. What I learned is simple:
People don’t need more noise.
They need places where they feel comfortable showing up.
So that’s what I build. Spaces where you can walk in—alone or with friends—and feel like you’re part of something.
If You’re Here…
You’re probably looking for something more real. Not louder. Not bigger. Just more you. You don’t need to be convinced.
You already know.
So consider this your invitation.
Show up.
Meet the community.
